Rodnee Ziady is the lead guitarist for Ipecac.  She is 15 and picked up the guitar at age 8.  She started lessons at Swallow Hill Music Academy in Denver and moved to School of Rock in Broomfield at age 12, becoming part of their house band at 13.  Currently she is in private instruction.  After a couple years at SOR, she formed her first band, Teenage Wasteland, playing covers at local events and house parties. Moving on from her first band in the Spring of 2017, she assembled Ipecac in the Winter of 2017.

Rodee has experience playing many local venues including Red Rocks, the Louisville Farmer’s Market, the Louisville Street Faire, Herman’s Hideaway, Westminster Brewery, Wonderland Brewery, Park Center Lounge, Thornton Farmers Market, 300 Suns and many other venues along the Front Range.

Her influences include Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam, Rush, Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, Slash, Muse, Jane’s Addiction and Tool to name a few.

Rodnee is excited to be a part of Ipecac with her talented, good friends and looks forward to growing the band as part of the local Denver music scene.
